Today we're going to review part Number KS62562G, this is the K-Source electric replacement side mirror for the driver side, black in color. It is a custom fit part number designed to fit the 1997 to 1999 automobile cut list with electric mirrors, and the 1997 to 2005 Chevrolet Malibu with electric mirrors. This is a side view mirror which is a direct replacement for the drivers side factory mirror on your vehicle. It is modeled after manufacturer's original look and fit. Does have the power remote capability which means you can adjust your mirror face position with the factory power controls inside your vehicle, what I do want to mention is the car you're putting this on does have to have that function already for there to, be able to use on this mirror. It does use an inaudible 00:50 flat plus, has fast surface plating to reflect the clear images, basically the front of the glass is plated with a reflective chrome and it is a flat lens to reflect the true representation of the object you're looking at. It is a spring rotate, break away design which means the mirror will fold when it's struck to prevent breakage.
The spring rotate mechanism will push the mirror right back into the original position. You can see it's a durable plastic housing with a nice shiny black finish. It is an easy no drill installation, you can see the mounting points, use the same mounting points that are on your factory mirror. You just take off the covers, and then you use the screws that are on there, and then it comes with three nuts to attach it down to your vehicle. This mirror will also plug in your existing electrical wiring.
Few specs on this, this part is designed to replace the original equipment part number which is 22683153 and this part is for quantity of one driver side mirror.
